Our Great Lakes Shoe family whose retail shoe heritage goes back to the early 1920's established Mephisto Great Lakes in 1996. Our knowledge and dedication is derived from prior generations who understood what customer service really means, and when accurate fitting was an art. Building on an 80 year, four generation, retail shoe store heritage, we possess the experience and know-how that our thousands of customers have come to expect.

We examine first hand and select the finest models, colors and finishes at the World Shoe shows, fresh each season. With this knowledge and experience we are able to consult expertly with each customer on particular style and fit needs.
